If anyone tries to tell you that the doctrine of Hell is very clear in Scripture, I'm sorry but they don't know what they are talking about! And if they tell you that they believe what Christians have always believed, then clearly they have never studied it fully. In this episode, I outline four different views that are held by Bible-believing theologians on this doctrine and why I can't buy into the traditional evangelical view of hell.

"The Kingdom of God is like..." is the way that Jesus often started his stories. He was trying to paint a picture of what the Kingdom of God looks like. In this episode, we are looking at the story that Jesus told (called parables) about the Wheat and the Weeds. I've always viewed this as a story about who's in and who's out of the Kingdom. But perhaps its more about how we live and work and treat each other!

When Jesus wanted to explain to his disciples and the people around what the Kingdom of God was, he told stories. He would say, "this was what the Kingdom of God is like... once upon a time" We call these stories Parables. Today we look at the Parable of the Vineyard Owner.

All of my life I've been taught, and I've taught that the Kingdom of God is the place where God rules and reigns. But what if that's not really right. What if the Kingdom of God is about relationships rather than hierarchy? What if it's the place where love reigns - where grace reigns - where inclusivity reigns?

If you have been around Christianity for even a very short time you probably know what the Gospel is. In Evangelicalism, it's Jesus taking our sin upon Himself on the cross and dying in our place. It's about the fact those who accept Jesus' sacrifice will have eternal life in heaven and those who don't will be eternally tortured.
